YASSMINE OTHMAN comes from a family of multicultural artists, Moroccan Turkish Spanish by father and French Portuguese by mother. From her paternal grandfather Abderrahman who was a musician, played the violin and clarinet in addition to being an exceptional artist through her aunt Assia a gifted actress from Tangiers to her mother Alexandrina Augusta who was a well known circus trapeze artist.
She is a celebrated, multilingual Spanish actress known for her versatility and commanding screen presence.
In 2022, she was honored by the Spanish Actors’ Union (UA) as Best Supporting Actress for her standout performance in the acclaimed series La Unidad (Movistar+).
Yassmine’s ability to perform fluently in English, Spanish, French, and Italian—complemented by her proficiency in Darija (Moroccan Arabic and other accents)—makes her a seamless fit for high-end international co-productions. She is currently making waves as Doña Marga in Seasons 3 and 4 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (AMC+), a role that has already earned her a pre-selection nomination for Best Actress in an International TV Production 2025 by the UA.
